Bonjour ! I'm CƩlestine.

I grew up in a small town in France where French was all around me, but I truly began to appreciate the challenge of language learning when I started learning German.

Suddenly, I was the beginner again: overwhelmed with vocabulary, unsure of grammar, and frustrated that I couldn’t speak with confidence. It reminded me how hard it can be to learn a language when you're on your own.

That’s exactly why I createdĀ 0Ā to Hero in French—to give French learners the kind of clear, structured, and supportive learning path I wished I had when I was learning German.

With over 7 years of experience teaching French, and a growing global community through my Let's Learn FranƧais platform, I wanted to make sure no one else had to feel lost or stuck.

So in 2022, I launchedĀ 0Ā to Hero in French, a course designed to guide you from absolute beginner (A1) to confident intermediate (B2) without the confusion, overwhelm, or endless searching for the ā€œrightā€ resource.

Now from my home in Texas, I work full-time helping students just like you go from ā€œWhere do I even begin?ā€ to ā€œWow, I’m actually speaking French!ā€

Why I Created Zero to Hero in French

Ā

Because I’ve been in your shoes. I know how discouraging it feels to study grammar rules, memorize vocabulary, and still freeze up when it's time to speak. Learning German reminded me of those exact struggles—and showed me how broken most language learning systems really are. The truth is: you don’t need more random lessons or disconnected phrases. You need a learning path that makes sense.

That’s what Zero to Hero in French is all about. It’s a step-by-step system that helps you understand, think, and speak French naturally. No fluff, no confusion—just practical, structured lessons that build real-world language skills and confidence.

šŸ„– Fun Facts You Didn’t Ask For (But I’m Telling Anyway)

  • I grew up in a French town so small, even Google Maps gets confused.

  • I moved to Texas in 2022 and still say ā€œmerciā€ to cashiers.

  • I’m currently learning German… and yes, it’s as intense as it sounds.

  • I accidentally switch between French, English, and German mid-sentence. My brain’s on a language rollercoaster.

  • I once spent 3 hours trying to explain the difference between ā€œleā€ and ā€œlaā€ to my dog. (He’s still confused.) 🐶

  • I learned English watching ā€œFriendsā€ and sometimes say ā€œHow you doin’?ā€ in a French accent.

  • Croissants are not a snack. They are a lifestyle.

  • My guilty pleasure? Correcting subtitles on Netflix.

  • I created Zero to Hero in French so you don’t have to learn the hard way like I did (trust me, I’ve tried it all).

  • Teaching French online is my full-time job… and also my full-time joy.
