I grew up in a small town in France where French was all around me, but I truly began to appreciate the challenge of language learning when I started learning German.

Suddenly, I was the beginner again: overwhelmed with vocabulary, unsure of grammar, and frustrated that I couldn’t speak with confidence. It reminded me how hard it can be to learn a language when you're on your own.

That’s exactly why I created 0 to Hero in French—to give French learners the kind of clear, structured, and supportive learning path I wished I had when I was learning German.

With over 7 years of experience teaching French, and a growing global community through my Let's Learn Français platform, I wanted to make sure no one else had to feel lost or stuck.

So in 2022, I launched 0 to Hero in French, a course designed to guide you from absolute beginner (A1) to confident intermediate (B2) without the confusion, overwhelm, or endless searching for the “right” resource.

Now from my home in Texas, I work full-time helping students just like you go from “Where do I even begin?” to “Wow, I’m actually speaking French!”

Why I Created Zero to Hero in French

Because I’ve been in your shoes. I know how discouraging it feels to study grammar rules, memorize vocabulary, and still freeze up when it's time to speak. Learning German reminded me of those exact struggles—and showed me how broken most language learning systems really are. The truth is: you don’t need more random lessons or disconnected phrases.
